Hi Is there a place where I can download the material library for common industry structural materials , for eg materials like A36, SS 304, A 335 etc.

Hi, you can find material data from different libraries for your simulations:
From Engineering Data in Ansys Workbench
From Ansys Granta Selector (or EduPack if it is for teaching)
From MDS... (like in the last screenshot from Ansys Discovery)

A lock icon indicates that the Autodesk libraries are locked. A closed library prohibits deleting or overwriting any content. A closed library's contents can be copied to an unlocked user-created library, where they can be overwritten or removed. The user-created library labeled "AB Project Materials" in the following figure is unlocked.

Yes, there are several sources from which you can download material libraries for common structural materials in the industry. You can choose from the NIST Materials Data Center (https://www.nist.gov/mml/materials-data-centerbasket random): The NIST Materials Data Center offers a wide variety of material property data including covers the mechanical, physical and thermodynamic properties for a wide variety of materials including metals, alloys, polymers, ceramics and composites.

I suggest MatWeb which is a free online database of material properties that includes data for thousands of materials, including metals, plastics, and ceramics. You can search for specific materials and download their data in various formats, including Excel, PDF, and HTML. build now gg
