As a loose guide, a destination wedding with under 30 guests will cost you $10,000 or under.

For example, we recently had a couple with 186 guests, and the wedding only cost them $3,900.

By day or night, there is always lots to do at Secrets Moxche – from windsurfing, beach volleyball, snorkeling to golf and, of course, the world-class Spa.
There are some stunning location options for your wedding ceremony and your Reception – each offering a unique and beautiful backdrop under the palm trees as you say ‘I do.’
Our favorite all-inclusive wedding package under $10,000 is the Beyond Memorable package.
It’s great value for money and flexible for larger weddings. For 50-79 guests, this costs $8,999 (Monday to Wednesday) or $9,499 (Thursday to Sunday.) You get a lot of bang for your buck here, including:
- Your symbolic ceremony with the service of a Judge or Minister
- Beach pergola or wedding gazebo drapery

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort is a family-friendly alternative to Secrets Moxche.
Dreams Playa Mujeres is an all-inclusive tropical dream with 500 large suites offering luxury on a large scale.
There are ten dining experiences and 13 bars and lounges, and 65,000 square feet swimming pools.
You’ll find there are lots to do for the kids, including an onsite water park, which is very popular – meaning that it makes an excellent option for a destination wedding in Mexico if you have kids coming.

Dreams Playa Mujeres is one of the best family-friendly wedding venues near Cancun.
For that reason, it’s extremely popular, and space is quite limited, so we recommend couples book at least 14-16 months in advance.
5. El Dorado Maroma | Ultimate Memorable Moments Package
El Dorado Maroma resort is a luxury spa in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, located on the renowned Maroma Beach.
It’s an intimate resort with 149 suites for adults only – including stunning over-water bungalows rare in Mexico.
It’s perfect for guests seeking relaxation, high-end personalized service, exquisite world cuisine, and romance in a tropical paradise setting.

A beautiful resort that offers 435 spectacular suites, luxurious amenities, and full-sensory culinary experiences at six different restaurants, including one of the 50 best restaurants in Latin America.
Guests with kids will find various activities for all ages and six pool options.
The Ultimate Memorable Moments package here is almost identical to the one detailed above for up to 24 guests, including those important little people.
7. Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya | Always & Forever Package
Nickelodeon Riviera Maya is the ultimate family beach escape, so you want to take advantage of this resort if you have many kids coming to your wedding.
Nickelodeon resorts offer a huge amount of kids’ activities with familiar faces, such as SpongeBob SquarePants and the teenage mutant ninja turtles experiences!
You’ll find an onsite water park with 6 acres, with over 20 slides for kids, both big and small.
